8:1 mux with sub-ohm on-resistance
This is a single 8:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer that routes one of eight analog or digital signals to a common output. The maximum on-state resistance is 1 Ohm, which keeps insertion loss low in precision analog paths — think data-acquisition front-ends, audio routing, or sensor multiplexing where signal fidelity matters. Channel-to-channel matching is 300 mOhm max, so the resistance variation between channels stays tight — important when the mux is used in a gain-setting or divider network where channel-to-channel offset would introduce error.
Crosstalk and charge injection — the analog signal-chain specs
Crosstalk is rated at -80 dB at 1 MHz, meaning a signal on one channel couples into an adjacent channel at roughly 100 µV per volt of signal — adequate for 12-bit systems and most audio-band applications. Charge injection is -110 pC typical, which translates to a voltage glitch of about 290 µV into a 100 pF load; the low charge injection reduces settling time after channel switching.
