4-channel SPDT switch with 1-ohm flatness
The MAX4780ETE+T is a quad (4-circuit) single-pole double-throw (SPDT) analog switch from Analog Devices, built for precision signal routing in low-voltage, high-density boards. On-state resistance is 1 Ohm maximum, with channel-to-channel matching at 100 mOhm — the low and flat RON minimizes gain error and attenuation in the signal path. The -3 dB bandwidth of 123 MHz and crosstalk of -95 dB at 1 MHz mean this switch passes high-speed analog or digital signals cleanly between channels without bleeding into adjacent paths. Charge injection is rated at 5 pC, and switching times (ton/toff) are 25 ns and 10 ns maximum — fast enough for sample-and-hold front ends or multiplexed data acquisition.
Supply range and leakage floor
Maximum off-channel leakage is 1 nA, and channel capacitance (CS(off)/CD(off)) is 33 pF / 60 pF — the leakage floor keeps the signal path from loading the source when the channel is deselected. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C, which covers industrial enclosures and outdoor telecom cabinets without derating.
16-TQFN footprint and sourcing posture
Packaged in a 16-WFQFN with exposed pad, the supplier device package is 16-TQFN (3x3 mm) — a compact, low-inductance land pattern that fits dense mixed-signal layouts. Lifecycle status is Active per Analog Devices, and the part is RoHS3 compliant — no end-of-life watch needed for ongoing designs.
