Signal integrity and switching performance
Crosstalk is rated at -56dB at 1MHz, adequate for isolating adjacent channels in audio or low-frequency analog mux applications. Charge injection of 60pC means the switch injects a small voltage glitch onto the signal path during transitions — something to budget for in sample-and-hold or precision integrator circuits. Off-leakage current holds at 1nA maximum, preserving accuracy in high-impedance sensor inputs. Switch times (25ns on, 20ns off) are fast enough for most multiplexed data-acquisition systems running below 10MHz sample rates.
Package and footprint
Housed in a 12-lead WFQFN with exposed pad (3x3mm body), the MAX4734ETC+ is a surface-mount device. The exposed pad must be soldered to a ground plane for thermal and electrical performance. The supplier device package is listed as 12-TQFN (3x3); the ordering code suffix 'ETC+' indicates the tape-and-reel variant for automated assembly.
Lifecycle and compliance
The MAX4734ETC+ carries an Active product status from Maxim Integrated (now part of Analog Devices). It is ROHS3 compliant.
