Quad SPST analog switch with flexible supply and fast switching
Key switching performance: 25 Ohm maximum on-resistance with 200 mOhm channel-to-channel matching, 125ns turn-on and 80ns turn-off times. Off-leakage is 500 pA max, and channel capacitance is 8 pF on both source and drain sides. Charge injection is 25 pC, and crosstalk between channels is -87 dB at 1 MHz. Rated for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, the MAX4713ESE+ is suitable for factory automation, outdoor telecom, motor drives, and data-acquisition front-ends where signal integrity over temperature matters.
25 Ohm on-resistance and channel matching — what they mean for the signal path
The 25 Ohm maximum on-resistance and 200 mOhm channel-to-channel matching keep gain errors consistent across channels in a multiplexed system. Charge injection of 25 pC is injected into the signal path each time the switch opens or closes. Crosstalk of -87 dB at 1 MHz is adequate for audio-band multiplexing and low-speed data acquisition (up to a few hundred kHz). Above 1 MHz, expect crosstalk to degrade; this part is not intended for RF or video switching.
Lifecycle and sourcing — active, no LTB risk
For new designs or BOM freeze, this part carries no near-term supply risk.
