Active production, four SPST channels
The MAX4712EUE+ is an active-production quad SPST-NO analog switch from Analog Devices, packing four independent 1:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer circuits into a 16-TSSOP package. Each switch presents a maximum 25 Ohm on-resistance with channel-to-channel matching held to 200 mOhm, so the insertion loss across the four paths stays consistent in precision signal routing.
Crosstalk floor and signal integrity
Crosstalk is specified at -87 dB at 1 MHz — this is the isolation between channels at that frequency, meaning a 1 Vpp signal on one channel leaks only about 45 µV into an adjacent off channel. Charge injection is 25 pC typical, which translates to a voltage glitch of roughly 3 mV when switching into a 10 pF load — a figure that matters for sample-and-hold or integrator reset circuits where the injected charge settles into the holding capacitor. Off-leakage current maxes out at 500 pA, and channel capacitance is 8 pF per side — both low enough that the switch does not load down a high-impedance source in the audio or instrumentation band.
Supply flexibility and switching speed
Turn-on time is 125 ns max, turn-off is 80 ns max, so the switch can handle audio multiplexing at line rates and moderate-speed data switching without introducing timing skew between channels.
Housed in a 16-TSSOP (4.40 mm width, 0.173-inch body) with a 0.65 mm pitch — a standard footprint that places cleanly on a two-layer board without blind vias.
