Single SPST-NC switch in a SOT-23-6 — what it covers
The MAX4676EUT+T from Maxim Integrated is a single-pole single-throw normally-closed analog switch in a SOT-23-6 package. It routes one signal path with a 1:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer configuration, breaking the connection when the control input is asserted. The 3 ohm max on-resistance keeps insertion loss low for audio, video, and low-frequency analog signals, while the 250 MHz -3 dB bandwidth extends its usable range into RF and high-speed data paths. Supply flexibility — single 2.7 V to 5.5 V or dual ±2.7 V to ±5.5 V — lets it sit on mixed-voltage boards without a separate rail. The -40°C to 85°C operating range covers industrial and telecom environments.
3 ohm on-resistance and 250 MHz bandwidth — what they mean for the signal path
The 3 ohm max on-resistance forms a voltage divider with the load impedance. The 250 MHz bandwidth defines the -3 dB roll-off point.
Charge injection and leakage — watch these in precision DC applications
Charge injection is rated at 87 pC. Off-state leakage is a maximum of 1 nA.
Sourcing and lifecycle — active part, no LTB pressure
There is no last-time-buy notice or NRND flag. The part is ROHS3 compliant. No need to rush a lifetime buy or hunt for surplus stock.
