Quad SPST switch with low charge injection
The MAX4613CUE+ from Maxim Integrated is a quad single-pole single-throw (SPST) analog switch with both normally-open and normally-closed configurations per channel. It handles single-supply rails from 4.5V to 40V or dual supplies from ±4.5V to ±20V, making it flexible for mixed-voltage systems. On-resistance maxes at 70 Ohm, with channel-to-channel matching within 4 Ohm — tight enough for gain-setting or reference switching where resistance mismatch causes offset. Switching times are 250ns on, 120ns off, so it keeps up with moderate-speed multiplexing in data acquisition or audio routing. Charge injection is 5pC, low enough to avoid glitching sampled analog values on a small hold capacitor.
Crosstalk and isolation for precision analog
Crosstalk is -100dB at 1MHz. Off-leakage current is 500pA max, and channel capacitance is 4pF per side.
