Quad SPST-NO switch with 100 Ohm on-resistance
The Maxim Integrated MAX4610CUD+ is a quad SPST-NO analog switch in a 14-TSSOP surface-mount package. Each of the four independent switches presents a maximum on-state resistance of 100 Ohm, with channel-to-channel matching held to 1 Ohm. The switch operates from a single supply rail spanning 2V to 12V.
Switching dynamics and signal integrity
Turn-on time is 65ns max, turn-off 28ns max, fast enough for audio sample-rate multiplexing and moderate-speed data acquisition. The -3dB bandwidth extends to 300MHz, so the switch passes high-frequency analog signals with minimal roll-off. Crosstalk between channels is rated at -80dB at 1MHz — a figure that keeps adjacent-channel bleed below the noise floor of a 12-bit system. Charge injection is specified at 1pC, low enough that the glitch on the analog bus during switching stays under a few millivolts into a typical sample-and-hold capacitance.
Package and temperature grade
Housed in a 14-TSSOP (4.40mm width) with a 0.173-inch body length, the part occupies minimal board area. The operating temperature range is commercial grade: 0°C to 70°C, intended for controlled indoor environments such as lab instrumentation, audio gear, and benchtop test equipment. Not rated for extended industrial or automotive temperature spans.
Lifecycle and compliance
The MAX4610CUD+ carries an Active lifecycle status from the manufacturer — no last-time-buy notice, no end-of-life risk for current production BOMs. It is ROHS3 compliant.
