Quad SPST switch with 300 MHz bandwidth

The MAX4610CSD+: Each of the four independent SPST-NO switches handles rail-to-rail analog signals with a 100 Ohm max on-resistance and channel-to-channel matching within 1 Ohm — tight enough that gain errors across parallel signal paths stay below 0.1% in a 10 kOhm load. The -3 dB bandwidth of 300 MHz and crosstalk of -80 dB at 1 MHz mean this switch passes a 100 MHz video signal with under 0.5 dB insertion loss while keeping feedthrough from adjacent channels more than 80 dB down — a clean multiplexing stage for a multi-input oscilloscope front-end or a baseband RF mux.

Switching speed and signal integrity

Turn-on time is 65 ns max, turn-off 28 ns max — the 2.3:1 ratio means the switch closes slower than it opens, which prevents momentary shoot-through in break-before-make topologies. Charge injection is 1 pC typical, so a 10 pF hold capacitor sees a 100 mV glitch on switching; for a sample-and-hold driving a 16-bit ADC with a 1 V full-scale input, that glitch settles within 1 LSB in about 10 µs through the on-resistance. Off-leakage is 100 pA max per channel, and channel capacitance is 16 pF on both source and drain sides — the RC time constant through 100 Ohm and 16 pF gives a 1.6 ns settling pole, well clear of the 300 MHz bandwidth limit.
