Quad SPST-NO switch with 2.5 Ohm flat on-resistance
The MAX4602EAE+: Each of the four switches presents a maximum 2.5 Ohm on-resistance, with channel-to-channel matching held to 100 mOhm — this flatness keeps gain errors uniform across multiplexed channels without per-channel calibration.
Supply flexibility and switching performance
Runs from a single 4.5 V to 36 V rail or split supplies up to ±20 V, so the same BOM position covers a ±15 V industrial ADC front-end or a 5 V battery-monitor mux without a level translator. Turn-on time is 250 ns max, turn-off 350 ns max — fast enough to sample a 2 MSPS SAR ADC's input channels without inserting dead time between conversions. Crosstalk is -59 dB at 1 MHz, meaning a full-swing signal on one channel bleeds less than 1 mV into an adjacent off-channel — adequate for 12-bit systems in the low-MHz range.
Signal integrity specs for precision analog paths
Charge injection is 120 pC typical — the charge dumped onto the load when the switch opens. For a 10 kOhm source impedance, this settles to within 0.5 LSB of a 16-bit ADC in under 1 µs. Off-channel leakage is 500 pA max at 85°C, and each channel's off-capacitance is 55 pF — both low enough that a 1 MOhm pulldown on an unselected input draws less than 0.5 mV of offset.
Industrial temperature and package
Housed in a 16-pin SSOP (5.30 mm body width) — the 0.025-inch lead pitch is standard for 2-layer boards with a 0.010-inch trace between pads. Supplied in tube; the ROHS3 compliance mark means no lead, cadmium, or phthalates in the mould compound or plating — no exemption flags for EU or China RoHS declarations.
