Quad SPST-NO analog switch for precision signal routing
The MAX4552CEE+ from Maxim Integrated is a quad single-pole single-throw normally-open (SPST-NO) analog switch in a 16-QSOP package. It routes four independent channels with a maximum on-state resistance of 120 Ohm and channel-to-channel matching within 1 Ohm, making it suitable for precision analog multiplexing, data acquisition front-ends, and audio signal routing where channel-to-channel consistency matters. Turn-on time 110 ns, turn-off 90 ns max; crosstalk -90 dB at 100 kHz. Charge injection is rated at 2 pC, which limits glitch energy when switching sample-and-hold or track-and-hold stages — a spec to budget if the downstream ADC has a narrow acquisition window.
Supply range and temperature grade
Single-supply operation spans 2 V to 12 V; dual supplies ±2 V to ±6 V. The 0°C to 70°C commercial temperature range covers indoor instrumentation, bench-top equipment, and office-environment PCBs — not rated for extended industrial or automotive under-hood use.
