Dual SPDT switch with 175 Ohm Ron and 1 pC charge injection
The MAX4527CSA+ is a dual single-pole double-throw (SPDT) analog switch from Analog Devices, integrating two independent 2:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer circuits in a single 8-SOIC package. Each switch presents a maximum on-resistance of 175 Ohm, with channel-to-channel matching held to 500 mOhm — a tight delta that keeps gain errors balanced in precision analog multiplexing applications. Charge injection is rated at 1 pC typical, making this switch suited for sample-and-hold front ends where injected charge must not shift the held voltage by more than a few hundred microvolts into the downstream ADC.
Supply flexibility and signal integrity parameters
Off-state leakage current is a maximum of 500 pA, and the off-state capacitance on either side of the switch is 13 pF — together these set the signal feedthrough floor at high source impedances.
Package, compliance, and lifecycle posture
Housed in an 8-pin SOIC (0.154-inch body width, 3.90 mm), surface-mount package, supplied in tube format.
