Key parametrics for signal routing
The MAX4522EUE+ is a quad SPST-NO analog switch from Analog Devices, built for precision signal routing where low charge injection and fast switching matter. Switching speed is 80 ns turn-on and 30 ns turn-off, which suits sample-and-hold front ends or audio muxing where the settling window is tight. Charge injection is just 1 pC, so the glitch coupled onto the signal path during switching stays small — important when the downstream ADC has a 16-bit or higher resolution.
Supply range and isolation
Runs from a single supply of 2 V to 12 V or dual supplies of ±2 V to ±6 V, giving flexibility for bipolar analog signals or single-rail systems. The -90 dB crosstalk at 100 kHz means signals on one channel do not bleed into adjacent channels at audible frequencies — a clean spec for audio crosspoint or low-frequency multiplexing. Off-channel leakage is max 1 nA, and channel capacitance is 2 pF on both source and drain sides. That combination keeps the off-isolation high and the capacitive feedthrough low, so the switch does not load the bus when it is supposed to be open.
Package, temperature, and compliance
Housed in a 16-TSSOP (4.40 mm width) surface-mount package, supplied in a Tube. Lifecycle status is active, and the part is ROHS3 compliant.
