Parametric limits that govern the BOM decision
Quiescent supply current is 800 µA per amplifier, low enough for battery-powered instrumentation where every microamp is budgeted. Input bias current of 50 pA and input offset voltage of 1.5 mV are typical for a general-purpose CMOS-input stage — adequate for sensor signals above a few millivolts but not for precision microvolt-level front-ends. Output can source or sink 50 mA, enough to drive the reference input of most SAR ADCs or a small analog meter directly.

The SC-70-5 (SOT-353) package has a 0.65 mm pin pitch and a typical seated height under 1.1 mm — the footprint is small enough that a two-layer board can break out all five pins without a via.
