Product details

Dual op amp for sensor signal chains

The MAX4489ASA+ is a dual general-purpose op amp from Analog Devices, offering a 42 MHz gain-bandwidth product and a 10V/µs slew rate — enough bandwidth to condition signals from MEMS accelerometers, photodiodes, or thermocouple amplifiers without rolling off below 1 MHz. Output swings rail-to-rail with push-pull drive, and each channel can source or sink 48 mA — enough to drive an ADC input or a small relay coil directly.

Supply and temperature envelope

Operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply — drop it onto a 3.3V or 5V rail without a negative rail. Input bias current is 1 pA typical, which keeps offset drift negligible when the source impedance is high — a photodiode or high-value resistor divider won't see a voltage drop across the input.

Active production, 8-SOIC package

The 8-SOIC footprint is widely used and compatible with standard reflow profiles.
