Signal-chain fit: bandwidth, slew rate, and supply rails
The MAX4475ASA+T: A 3 V/µs slew rate means the output can swing 2.5 V in under 1 µs — adequate for audio or control loops up to several hundred kHz, but a faster part is needed if you are driving a high-speed ADC input that requires full-scale settling in a few hundred nanoseconds.
Precision front-end: input bias and offset
Input bias current of 1 pA typical and input offset voltage of 70 µV maximum mean this op-amp introduces negligible DC error in high-impedance circuits — a photodiode transimpedance amplifier with a 10 MΩ feedback resistor sees only 10 µV of bias-induced offset, well below the signal floor. The 2.5 mA supply current per amplifier is moderate — it draws more than a micropower op-amp but less than a high-speed current-feedback type, so it fits designs that need both bandwidth and reasonable power budget.
