Parametric deep-dive: what the ratings mean for your signal chain
With a 10 MHz GBW and 3V/µs slew rate, the MAX4475ASA+ supports closed-loop gains up to 100 at 100 kHz without significant phase margin erosion — the slew rate limits large-signal bandwidth before the GBW does, so for a 2 Vpp output the full-power bandwidth is about 240 kHz. Supply current is 2.5 mA typical, and each output can source or sink 48 mA — the output current limit is the thermal bottleneck in a small 8-SOIC package; driving a 100 Ω load to 2.5 V dissipates about 60 mW, well within the junction-to-ambient thermal budget at 125 °C.
Package, footprint, and board-fit note
Supplied in tube packaging, it is compatible with pick-and-place assembly; the surface-mount body suits reflow profiles per J-STD-020 with a 260 °C peak.
