10 MHz GBP, 8V/µs slew — signal-chain fit
The MAX44242AKA+T is a dual general-purpose op-amp from Analog Devices in a SOT-23-8 package. That flexibility saves a second regulator in mixed-voltage designs.
Input bias and offset — DC precision for high-impedance sources
Input bias current is 0.02 pA typical — that is 20 femtoamps. For a photodiode front-end or a pH probe with 10 MΩ source impedance, the voltage error from bias is under 0.2 µV, negligible next to the 50 µV input offset. The offset itself is trimmed enough that most designs skip the nulling pot. Each channel draws 1.2 mA supply current, so the dual part pulls 2.4 mA quiescent. In a multi-channel data-acquisition board with four of these, the total op-amp supply budget is under 10 mA — well within the margin of a typical 100 mA LDO.
Output drive and temperature range
Each output can source or sink 95 mA. That drives a 50 Ω cable to ±4.75 V or charges a 100 nF sample-and-hold cap in under 5 µs.
