What the integrated amplifier, comparator, and reference mean for a current-sense design
The MAX4375FESD+ combines an amplifier, comparator, and reference on one die — the amplifier scales the shunt voltage, the comparator trips at a programmed threshold, and the reference sets that threshold without an external bandgap. That integration saves a resistor network and a comparator IC on the board. Targeted at current sensing and power management, the part fits overcurrent detection, load monitoring, and fault flagging in a single 14-SOIC footprint.
ROHS3 compliant, so it clears EU and global environmental requirements without a waiver or exemption review.
Package and board-fit — 14-SOIC surface-mount
Supplied in tube packaging, typical for small-batch or prototype procurement; reel/tape options may be available from distribution for volume.
