What a 200 kHz current-sense amp gives you in a SOT-23-5
The MAX4372FEUK+T is a single-channel current-sense amplifier from Analog Devices, packaged in a SOT-23-5 (SC-74A) footprint. Its 200 kHz bandwidth means it can track load transients and PWM ripple in the tens-of-kilohertz range without significant gain roll-off — useful for monitoring a motor-drive bus or a switching-regulator output where the ripple frequency sits below 100 kHz. Supply current is 30 µA typical, which keeps the quiescent draw low enough for always-on current monitoring in battery-powered gear or for a sense circuit that stays live while the rest of the board sleeps.
Input offset voltage is 300 µV typical; that sets the floor on how small a shunt voltage you can resolve before the offset dominates the error.
