Active dual op amp for general-purpose signal chains
The MAX4332ESA+ is an active-production dual general-purpose op amp from Analog Devices, in an 8-SOIC package.
The 3 MHz gain-bandwidth product sets the closed-loop bandwidth for a given gain — at a gain of 10, the -3 dB point lands near 300 kHz. Rail-to-rail output swing lets the amplifier drive to within millivolts of the supply rails, preserving dynamic range in low-voltage single-supply designs from 2.3 V to 6.5 V.
275 µA per channel supply current — battery-aware signal conditioning
Each amplifier draws 275 µA quiescent current, totalling 550 µA for the dual package. In a battery-powered sensor node running at 3.3 V, the op amp's share of the power budget is under 2 mW — low enough to leave headroom for the ADC and wireless link.
Industrial temperature range and SOIC-8 footprint
The device is RoHS3 compliant, with no restricted substances above the threshold limits.
