280 MHz bandwidth, 460 V/µs slew rate — signal-path ceiling for multiplexed video or data acquisition
The MAX4310ESA+ integrates a 2:1 multiplexer and a high-speed amplifier in a single 8-pin SOIC, eliminating the trace-length and parasitic capacitance of a discrete mux-plus-amp chain. Its 280 MHz -3 dB bandwidth and 460 V/µs slew rate mean it can switch between two input channels and settle fast enough for component-video routing, high-speed ADC driving, or pulsed-data acquisition without introducing a visible step or droop.
Rail-to-rail output and wide supply range — one part serves ±5 V or single 5 V rails
Output swings rail-to-rail, preserving the full dynamic range when running from a single 5 V supply or from split ±5 V rails. Quiescent supply current is 6.1 mA, and each output channel can deliver 95 mA — enough to drive a 75 Ω video line or a flash ADC input directly.
