The MAX4211FETE+ is a high-side current monitor from Analog Devices, designed to measure load current by sensing the voltage drop across a sense resistor placed between the power supply and the load. The ±0.5% accuracy means the measured current value stays within half a percent of the actual current across the operating range — tight enough for precision power monitoring in systems where a 1% error would trip a protection threshold or skew a charge-counting algorithm.
