High-side current sensing for power-rail monitoring
The MAX4210DEUA+ is a high-side current monitor from Analog Devices, designed to measure current flowing into a load by sensing the voltage drop across an external sense resistor placed between the supply rail and the load. It operates from a 4V to 28V input supply, covering common power rails in industrial control, telecom, and automotive auxiliary systems. The ±0.5% accuracy over the full temperature range means the current measurement error budget is tight enough for closed-loop current limiting or power monitoring without a separate calibration step on the production line.
Temperature grade and package for board integration
Supplied in Tube format, the parts are aligned and ready for pick-and-place without reel-to-reel transfer; store the tubes in a dry cabinet below 30°C to keep the MSL rating intact.
Lifecycle and compliance status
ROHS3 compliance means the part is free of the ten restricted substances including the four phthalates (DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP), which simplifies EU and UKCA declaration paperwork for the finished assembly.
