What this current-feedback dual op-amp is built for
Current-feedback topology gives it a nearly constant -3 dB bandwidth of 400 MHz across a wide gain range, unlike voltage-feedback amps where bandwidth collapses as gain increases. The 1200 V/µs slew rate handles large-signal pulses cleanly — think video line drivers, RGB distribution, or pulse-amplifier stages where rise time matters. Each channel draws 5 mA supply current and can deliver 80 mA output current, enough to drive 50-ohm back-terminated cables directly. Supply span runs from 9 V to 11 V, so it fits ±5 V rails comfortably.
Where it goes on the board
The 8-SOIC footprint is standard — no hidden paddle, no thermal-via dance. Surface-mount assembly, MSL level per the package moisture sensitivity.
Lifecycle and supply position
It is ROHS3 compliant.
