Quad TIA for automotive optical receivers
The Maxim Integrated MAX40662ATE/VY+ is a quad-channel transimpedance amplifier designed for low-noise, high-gain optical front ends. It is qualified to AEC-Q100, making it suitable for automotive-grade LIDAR receiver modules and other optical detection systems that must survive under-hood or cabin temperature cycling. The part comes in a 16-TQFN-SW (4x4 mm) package with a wettable flank, which supports automated optical inspection (AOI) of solder joints in high-volume automotive assembly lines.
AEC-Q100 qualification and production status
For a production BOM targeting automotive optical receivers, this means no near-term supply disruption risk. ROHS3 compliance is confirmed, so the part fits lead-free reflow processes without exemption paperwork.
Package and mounting for production
Surface-mount assembly with a wettable flank on the 16-TQFN-SW package. The 4x4 mm footprint is compact enough for multi-channel receiver arrays in LIDAR modules.
