The MAX4030EESA+ is a dual general-purpose amplifier from Analog Devices, built for applications that need both wide bandwidth and high output drive on a single 5V supply rail. Its 115 V/µs slew rate and 144 MHz -3 dB bandwidth mean the amplifier can handle large-signal pulses and small-signal waveforms well into the VHF range — suitable for video distribution, ADC front-end buffering, or high-speed data acquisition paths where settling time matters. The rail-to-rail output stage preserves the full 5V signal swing, while the 100 mA per-channel output current lets it drive low-impedance loads such as 50-ohm transmission lines or multiple ADC inputs without an external buffer stage.
Supply and power budget
Each amplifier draws 12 mA quiescent supply current, so a dual-channel design budgets 24 mA before signal-dependent load current.
