8-channel SPST switch with 100 Ohm Ron and 400ns switching
The MAX395CWG+ from Analog Devices integrates eight independent SPST-NO (single-pole single-throw, normally open) analog switch circuits in a single 24-SOIC package. Each switch presents a maximum on-resistance of 100 Ohm, with channel-to-channel matching held to 5 Ohm max, ensuring consistent signal attenuation across all eight paths. Switching is fast at 400 ns typical for both turn-on and turn-off, which suits multiplexing or signal routing in data acquisition and audio systems. The charge injection is a low 2 pC, reducing glitch energy when switching analog signals.
Supply flexibility and signal integrity
Crosstalk between channels is specified at -90 dB at 100 kHz, which keeps adjacent channel bleed well below the noise floor for most audio and low-frequency instrumentation applications. Off-channel leakage current is a maximum 100 pA, and off-channel capacitance is 2 pF, preserving signal fidelity in high-impedance circuits.
