Quad SPST-NC switch for precision analog routing
The Maxim Integrated MAX364CSE+ is a quad SPST-NC analog switch in a 16-SOIC package. Each of the four switches handles signals with a maximum on-resistance of 85 Ohm.
85 Ohm on-resistance and 5 pC charge injection
The 85 Ohm max on-resistance is the figure that decides whether this switch passes your signal without noticeable attenuation into a typical op-amp input or ADC driver. For a 10 kΩ load, the voltage drop is under 1% — fine for most analog paths. Charge injection is rated at 5 pC, which is moderate; if you are switching into a high-impedance sample-and-hold, that 5 pC glitch may need a settling-time budget. Turn-on time is 250 ns, turn-off 120 ns, so it handles audio-rate or moderate-speed multiplexing but not video-rate switching.
Package and mounting
Surface-mount in a 16-SOIC (0.154", 3.90 mm width) — standard footprint, no fine-pitch surprises. Ships in Tube; if your pick-and-place prefers tape, verify the reel option or plan a tube-to-tape transfer. Operating temperature is 0°C to 70°C, so this is a commercial-grade part for indoor equipment, not extended-temperature or automotive environments.
