8:1 analog mux for precision signal routing
The MAX354EWE+ is a single 8:1 analog multiplexer in a 16-SOIC package, with a maximum on-resistance of 350 Ohm. It operates from a single 4.5 V to 36 V supply or dual ±4.5 V to 18 V rails, over -40 °C to 85 °C.
Crosstalk and charge injection — what they mean for the signal path
Channel-to-channel crosstalk is -92 dB at 100 kHz. Charge injection is 80 pC.
Switching speed and leakage
Turn-on time is 250 ns max, turn-off 200 ns max, fast enough for multiplexed ADC inputs scanning at hundreds of kilohertz without dead-time penalties. Off-channel leakage current is 500 pA max, and channel capacitance is 1.6 pF (off) and 11 pF (off on the drain side) — both low enough to avoid loading the source or creating settling-time issues in high-impedance sensor circuits.
Lifecycle and sourcing posture
The MAX354EWE+ carries an active lifecycle status with no NRND or EOL flags. That means no last-time-buy clock, no PCN risk for the next several years — it can be specified into new production BOMs without obsolescence hedging.
