Ultrasound time-of-flight measurement IC
The MAX35101EHJ+ is a time-to-flight-to-digital converter with an integrated analog front-end (AFE), purpose-built for ultrasonic flow metering and distance measurement applications where the round-trip time of an acoustic pulse must be resolved to sub-nanosecond precision. The device draws only 100 nA in its lowest-power state, making it viable for battery-powered meters that must run for years on a single cell without periodic battery swaps.

The TQFP package is surface-mount compatible with standard reflow profiles and is supplied in tray format, not tape-and-reel, which affects pick-and-place feeder setup for volume assembly.
