The MAX3491EPD+ is a single-channel full-duplex transceiver supporting both RS422 and RS485 protocols at a data rate of 10 Mbps, with one driver and one receiver on-chip. The 50 mV receiver hysteresis provides noise margin on long RS485 stub connections, reducing the likelihood of false triggering from reflections or coupled interference on the bus.
