Eight SPST switches with sub-nanoamp leakage
The MAX335EUG+ packs eight independent SPST-NO switches into a 24-TSSOP, each with a typical on-resistance of 150 Ohm and a flatness that keeps the signal path resistance consistent across the analog voltage range. Off-state leakage is specified at 1 nA max, and channel capacitance is just 2 pF per side — together these keep the signal path from loading the source or injecting charge into the sample-and-hold when the switch is open.
Crosstalk floor for precision analog routing
Crosstalk is rated at -100 dB at 100 kHz — that is the isolation between channels when one is switching and another is passing a signal. For a 16-bit ADC front-end with a 100 kHz bandwidth, this puts the coupled noise well below one LSB, so the switch matrix does not limit the system SNR. Switching times are symmetric at 400 ns max for both turn-on and turn-off, which means the timing budget for a multiplexed acquisition sequence is the same in both directions — no need to pad the dead time for the slower edge.
Dual-supply operation and temperature range
Package is the 24-TSSOP (0.173-inch body width, 4.40 mm) with a standard 0.65 mm pitch — a 2-layer board with a ground plane under the device handles the fan-out for all eight channels without vias.
