8-channel SPST switch with -100dB crosstalk
The MAX335CWG+ from Analog Devices is an 8-circuit SPST-NO analog switch in a 24-SOIC package. Each switch has a typical on-resistance of 150 Ohm and handles dual supplies from ±4.5 V to ±20 V. The -100 dB crosstalk at 100 kHz keeps channel-to-channel bleed low enough for audio routing and precision analog multiplexing. Switching time is 400 ns maximum — fast enough for audio crossfades and low-speed data acquisition, not for high-speed digital buses.
Supply range and signal headroom
Dual-supply operation from ±4.5 V to ±20 V means the switch can pass bipolar signals up to the rail minus the on-resistance drop. If you are running single-supply, tie V- to ground and stay within the total supply range — the datasheet covers that configuration. The 1 nA max off-leakage keeps errors small in high-impedance circuits like photodiode amplifiers or sample-and-hold stages.
Package and handling
Supplied in a Tube, the 24-SOIC (0.295", 7.50 mm width) footprint is standard for analog switches. Surface-mount assembly with reflow soldering.
