Quad SPDT analog switch for precision signal routing
The Analog Devices MAX333AEWP+T is a quad single-pole double-throw (SPDT) analog switch in a 20-SOIC surface-mount package. It integrates four independent SPDT switches, each with a 2:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer configuration, giving you eight signal paths that can be individually toggled. The part is designed for precision analog and digital signal switching where low on-resistance, tight channel matching, and minimal crosstalk matter.
Supply voltage range and what it means for your rails
The MAX333AEWP+T accepts a single supply from 10 V to 30 V or dual supplies from ±4.5 V to ±20 V. The 45 Ω maximum on-resistance is consistent across the supply range, and the 2 Ω max channel-to-channel matching keeps gain errors uniform.
Switching speed, crosstalk, and signal integrity
Turn-on time is 175 ns max, turn-off 145 ns max — fast enough for audio multiplexing, relay replacement, and moderate-speed analog muxing. The -78 dB crosstalk at 1 MHz means a signal on one channel won't bleed measurably into an adjacent channel at audio frequencies or low-MHz sampling rates. Off-leakage is 250 pA max, and charge injection is 2 pC typical, both low enough that you won't see offset shifts when switching into a high-impedance load or a sample-and-hold capacitor.
Package, temperature grade, and lifecycle
Housed in a 20-SOIC wide-body package (7.50 mm width), the MAX333AEWP+T is rated for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It is ROHS3 compliant, which covers the current EU exemption requirements.
