Quad SPDT switch in a through-hole DIP — what it brings to the bench
The Analog Devices MAX333ACPP+ packs four independent SPDT switches into a single 20-pin PDIP, each switch rated for 45 ohms max on-resistance. It runs on either a single supply from 10V to 30V or a dual supply from ±4.5V to ±20V, which means it can handle both single-ended and bipolar signal paths without a level shifter. Switching is clean at 175 ns turn-on and 145 ns turn-off, with charge injection held to 2 pC — low enough for precision analog multiplexing in audio, data acquisition, and ATE front-ends. The 0°C to 70°C commercial temperature grade keeps it in indoor, bench, and rack-mount gear; it's not rated for the engine bay or a factory floor without climate control.
Package and footprint — what the pick-and-place sees
This is a through-hole 20-pin DIP with 7.62 mm row spacing.
Crosstalk and leakage — when signal integrity matters
Crosstalk is rated at -78 dB at 1 MHz.
Lifecycle and sourcing posture
The MAX333ACPP+ carries an Active lifecycle status with ROHS3 compliance. If you are qualifying this part for a new design, there is no LTB clock to manage.
