3.5 kOhm on-resistance — what it means for signal routing
The MAX326CSE+T is a Maxim quad SPST-NC (single-pole single-throw, normally-closed) analog switch in a 16-SOIC surface-mount package. Its 3.5 kOhm maximum on-resistance places it firmly in the high-impedance signal-switching category — think precision analog multiplexing, sample-and-hold front ends, or gain-setting resistor networks where the switch's own resistance is negligible compared to the load impedance. The 175 Ohm channel-to-channel matching keeps the resistance consistent across all four switches, which matters when you're switching matched gain resistors in a programmable amplifier.
Supply voltage flexibility: dual or single rail
This switch runs from either a dual ±5V to ±18V supply or a single 10V to 30V rail.
Charge injection and crosstalk — analog signal integrity
With 2 pC typical charge injection and -90 dB crosstalk at 100 kHz, the MAX326CSE+T keeps channel-to-channel bleed low.
Temperature grade and environment
Rated for 0°C to 70°C operating temperature.
Lifecycle and sourcing
The MAX326CSE+T carries an Active lifecycle status and is ROHS3 compliant. The Tape & Reel (TR) and Cut Tape (CT) packaging options suit both production reels and prototype quantities.
