Dual SPST-NO switch with 60 Ohm R_on and 800 mOhm channel matching
The MAX323EUA+ from Analog Devices is a dual single-pole single-throw normally-open (SPST-NO) analog switch in an 8-uMAX/uSOP package. Each switch presents a typical 60 Ohm on-resistance with 800 mOhm channel-to-channel matching — this delta matters when routing matched analog signals through both channels, as the gain error between paths stays under 1.3% in a 50 Ohm load. Switching is fast: 150 ns turn-on and 100 ns turn-off maximum, which suits multiplexing audio or low-frequency analog signals at sample rates up to several megahertz. The break-before-make timing is inherent in the SPST topology — no overlap glitch between channels. The 1 pC charge injection keeps the output glitch below 1 mV into a 1000 pF load — relevant for sample-and-hold or integrator reset circuits.
