The MAX3225CAP+ is an RS-232 transceiver from Analog Devices, configured as a full-duplex interface with two drivers and two receivers on a single 20-pin SSOP package. Receiver hysteresis is specified at 500 mV, providing noise immunity on the RS-232 receive lines without external Schmitt-trigger buffers — useful in electrically noisy environments like motor-drive cabinets or factory-floor cabling.
