10 Ohm on-resistance and 225 ns switching
The MAX313LEUE+: Maximum on-resistance is 10 Ohm, with channel-to-channel matching of 300 mOhm — the matching figure matters more than the absolute R_on when the switch is used in a gain-setting or multiplexed precision path where channel-to-channel offset must stay tight. Switching times are 225 ns max for turn-on and 185 ns max for turn-off, fast enough for audio routing, relay replacement, and moderate-speed data multiplexing in industrial control I/O. Charge injection is 20 pC typical — this is the amount of charge dumped onto the load when the switch opens. For a high-impedance sample-and-hold or a precision integrator front-end, 20 pC translates to a voltage glitch of 20 mV into a 1 nF load; the downstream stage must settle before the conversion window closes.
Crosstalk and isolation for multi-channel routing
Crosstalk is -85 dB at 1 MHz — this is the feedthrough from one channel to another when both are active. At audio frequencies the isolation is better; at 1 MHz the -85 dB floor means a 1 Vpp signal on one channel couples less than 60 µV into an adjacent channel, which is below the noise floor of most 16-bit ADC front-ends. Off-channel leakage is 500 pA max, and each channel presents 15 pF of capacitance to the source and load when off — these numbers govern the settling time in a multiplexed data-acquisition system where the source impedance and sampling rate interact.
