Four SPST-NC channels with 10 Ohm flatness
The MAX312CSE+T is a quad SPST-NC analog switch from Analog Devices, packing four normally-closed channels into a 16-SOIC package. Each channel presents a maximum 10 Ohm on-resistance, with channel-to-channel matching held to 300 mOhm — tight enough that gain errors in a multiplexed signal path stay consistent across all four channels.
Supply rails and signal handling
Switching is fast: 225 ns turn-on, 185 ns turn-off, which suits audio muting or precision gain-network switching where the glitch window must stay under a microsecond. Charge injection is rated at 20 pC, and crosstalk between channels sits at -85 dB at 1 MHz — low enough that a 1 Vpp signal on one channel couples less than 60 µV into an adjacent channel at that frequency. Off-leakage is 500 pA max, and each channel's off-capacitance is 15 pF, keeping the parasitic load light on the upstream signal source.
