32 Mbps data rate — what it buys the bus
At 32 Mbps this receiver keeps up with high-speed Profibus and custom backplane protocols. The 40 mV hysteresis means the input threshold doesn't chatter on a marginal signal.
Three receivers, no drivers — pure monitoring node
The 0/3 driver/receiver count tells you this is a receive-only device. It fits a bus monitor tap that listens to three differential pairs without loading the bus with extra driver capacitance. In a half-duplex RS485 network you pair it with a separate single driver and let the microcontroller's DE pin control direction.
Lifecycle and compliance
Marked Active with ROHS3 compliance. For a production BOM this means you can qualify it into a new design without worrying about a short production tail. The wide supply and industrial temperature range also reduce the risk of a respin if the end system moves from a lab to a factory floor.
