RS-485/RS-422 transceiver for 10 Mbps industrial buses
The Maxim Integrated MAX3089ESD+T is a full-duplex transceiver rated for 10 Mbps signaling over a single differential pair, with one driver and one receiver in a 14-SOIC package. It operates from a 4.75 V to 5.25 V supply and includes 100 mV of receiver hysteresis for noise rejection on long or electrically noisy bus runs. The industrial temperature range (-40°C to 85°C) suits it for factory-floor networks, outdoor telecom cabinets, and motor-drive communication links where cable runs exceed 100 meters.
