Dual 8:1 multiplexer with wide supply range
The MAX307CWI+ from Analog Devices is a dual 8:1 multiplexer (two independent 8-channel muxes in one 28-SOIC package) with a 100 Ohm max on-resistance and channel-to-channel matching of 1.5 Ohm.
Analog performance and switching speed
Switching times are 200 ns max for turn-on and 150 ns max for turn-off, fast enough for audio-band multiplexing and data acquisition front-ends sampling below 1 MHz. Charge injection is 2 pC typical — low enough that the injected glitch settles within the acquisition window of a 16-bit SAR ADC without an external sample-and-hold. Crosstalk between channels is -92 dB at 100 kHz, suitable for switching multiple audio or low-frequency signal paths without bleed-through. Off-channel leakage is 500 pA max, and off-channel capacitance is 8 pF on the source side and 65 pF on the drain side — the higher drain capacitance loads the common output bus, so the downstream amplifier's input capacitance should be considered in the settling time budget.
