The MAX3060EEKA+T is a half-duplex transceiver supporting RS422 and RS485 protocols, with one driver and one receiver integrated into a single SOT-23-8 package. Data rate is 115 Kbps — suitable for moderate-speed industrial fieldbus links where the bus length and cable capacitance limit faster signalling.

Supply range and noise margin

Receiver hysteresis is 100 mV, which provides noise rejection on long cable runs where ground-potential differences and reflections degrade the differential signal.

Housed in an 8-pin SOT-23 package (Supplier Device Package: SOT-23-8), the part fits into space-constrained designs where a larger SOIC footprint would not route. Surface-mount assembly — the narrow 0.65 mm pitch demands careful solder-paste stencil design to avoid bridging between adjacent pins.
