Quad RS-422/485 line driver in 16-SOIC
The MAX3041CSE+ is a quad RS-422/RS-485 line driver from Analog Devices, packing four independent drivers into a 16-SOIC package. It handles differential signalling at data rates up to 2.5 Mbps, making it a fit for industrial backplanes, motor-drive comms links, and multi-drop sensor networks where one driver per twisted pair is the norm.
2.5 Mbps data rate and 5 V supply
Rated for 2.5 Mbps, the driver covers the common RS-485 baud rates up to that ceiling — 115.2 kbps, 921.6 kbps, and 2 Mbps all fall within the guaranteed timing. For industrial floor or outdoor deployment, a wider-temperature variant would be needed.
