Bidirectional level translator for multi-voltage buses
The Analog Devices MAX3023EUD+ is a 4-channel bidirectional voltage-level translator in a 14-TSSOP package. It handles data rates up to 100 Mbps and operates with a dual supply: VCCA from 1.2 V to 3.6 V and VCCB from 1.65 V to 3.6 V. The output type is tri-state, non-inverted, and the channel type is bidirectional. Power-supply decoupling is integrated on-chip.
100 Mbps — what it means for bus timing
Rated at 100 Mbps, the MAX3023EUD+ handles fast SPI clock lines and parallel memory interfaces without adding a full clock-cycle of propagation delay. For slower protocols like I2C or UART, the margin is generous — the bottleneck will be the peripheral, not the translator.
Active lifecycle and sourcing posture
ROHS3 compliant. For a BOM line that needs a proven level translator for mixed-voltage designs, this part carries no near-term obsolescence risk.
