Two-channel unidirectional isolator for industrial signal isolation
The Maxim Integrated MAX22519AWA+ is a two-channel unidirectional digital isolator built with capacitive coupling technology. It provides 3500 Vrms galvanic isolation between the input and output sides, with both channels running in the same direction (side 1 to side 2).
Package and mounting
The 3500 Vrms isolation rating covers basic insulation for mains-connected equipment in pollution degree 2 environments. Common-mode transient immunity of 50 kV/µs minimum keeps the output clean when switching high-voltage rails.
Package and footprint — 8-SOIC wide-body
The wide-body SOIC provides the creepage distance needed to sustain the 3500 Vrms rating. Pin 1 orientation is standard for SOIC-8.
