Fixed 1.2 V rail for noise-sensitive cores
The MAX1976AETA120+T is a single-output LDO from Analog Devices, delivering a fixed 1.2 V at up to 300 mA from a 3.6 V max input rail. The 70 dB PSRR at 1 kHz means switching noise from a buck converter upstream gets attenuated by a factor of 3000 before it reaches the load — important when powering a PLL or ADC reference that cannot tolerate ripple on the core supply.
Quiescent discipline and protection
Quiescent current sits at 140 µA typical, with a maximum supply draw of 90 µA — the regulator's own consumption stays low enough for battery-backed always-on domains in portable instrumentation or industrial sensors. Built-in protection covers over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit conditions. The Enable and Reset control pins let a supervisor or MCU sequence the rail on and off, and monitor when the output is within regulation.
Package and board-fit for field replacement
ROHS3 compliant, no lead or restricted substances per the current exemption list.
