Key features that drive the BOM decision
Quiescent current sits at 250 µA typical, which keeps standby draw low for always-on peripherals. Control features include an Enable pin and a Power Good flag — the Enable lets a system sequencer turn the rail off in sleep mode, and Power Good gives a clean reset signal or supply-valid indicator without an external supervisor. Protection covers over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit, so the part handles output faults without latching up the main rail.
Package and mounting
Supplied in SOT-23-6 (supplier device package SOT-6), surface-mount only. The Tape & Reel or Cut Tape options suit both prototype and production volumes. The small footprint makes it a candidate for space-constrained PCBs in portable or handheld equipment.
